P1/2/3/4 CLASS PAGE

This year there are 21 pupils in our class.  There are 7 pupils in P1 (4 boys/3girls), 1 pupil in P2 (1 boy), 5 pupils in P3 (1 boy/4girls) and 8 pupils in P4 (4 boys/4 girls).  Our usual class teacher Miss Scott is currently off on maternity leave so our new teacher is called Mr Rudd.  Mrs Maxwell also teaches us on a regular basis, she is our school support teacher.

wEE GRANNY'S CEILIDH

When the P6/7s were away to Lockerbie Manor, we read a great story about "Wee Granny's Ceildh".  In mixed ability groups, we then had lots of activities to work through and we finished off by holding our own ceilidh.

This topic was really interesting.  We learned about how sound travels and we learned the names of the tiny bones inside your ear.

Farming

We are learning about farming this term.  Mr Rudd has been reading the story of Farmer Duck to the younger children and the older children have been enjoying Farm Boy.
